Farmer On Your Plate goes beyond the typical farmers’ market; it’s a lively farming festival that honours the rich contributions of our Western Australian (WA) farming families. Join us in discovering the origins of your food as we highlight farm-fresh produce sourced directly from our WA family farmers. The event promises an immersive experience, featuring opportunities to engage with farming families, enjoy cooking demonstrations and sampling, meet adorable farm animals, and be entertained. This celebration underscores the pivotal role of agriculture in Australia and urges everyone to rally behind farming, fostering the ongoing production of premium West Australian food. - 10:00am – Sheep shearing demonstration and wool spinning

Get your kids involved in our colouring-in competition!
Download the colouring in the competition form for your chance to win a voucher from Meraki Boho for a kids ‘n’ canvas booking. Complete your entry and hand it in to the volunteers at the Farming Champions tent on event day Saturday 26 October by 2pm. Otherwise, you can submit it by emailing a copy to info@farmingchampions.org.au by Thursday 24 October. This is a free entry competition for anyone up to the age of 17. The winners will be announced on event day at 2:45pm and contacted via phone to organise the prize.

To exhibit at our event, we are looking for rural and regional WA businesses, representative organisations, and city-based operators who use WA produce to create value-added products. We welcome all types of products, including fresh produce, prepared foods, ingredients, crafts, and more – provided they have a connection to WA farms.
